How many people can fit? 👨‍👩‍👦‍👦

One of our scooters can hold up to 400 lbs — an adult alone or one adult with one child. However, our scooters are not designed to hold two adults. 

How old can do children have to be to ride a scooter? 🧒🏽

We commonly have kids who are 7 years old and older ride their own scooters, and below that age they can routinely ride with parents. This is not allowed with regular scooters you would rent off the street.

What sights are included? 👁‍🗨

The public group tours of the entire National Mall on tricycle includes the White House, the Washington Monument, the Jefferson Memorial, and the Lincoln Memorial. 

How long does a tour last? 🕐

The initial tour of the White House plus the the major monuments & memorials generally takes about 120 minutes. 

Do you pick up/drop-off? 🏨

We don't pick up and drop off scooters for our group tours (we only pick up and drop off for our private tours). Our public group tours meet at our shop near the McPherson Square Metro Station. 

What time should we arrive? ⌚

We recommend arriving 15 to 20 minutes prior to get issued your scooter, test it out and practice. But if you are an expert scooter rider, then please arrive no later than 10 minutes prior. If you have never ridden on an electric scooter before, you may need additional advanced instruction. In that case, please call our number to discuss. 

Can I bring my pet? 🐕

We love dogs! Although we find people usually take their furry friends on a private tricycle tour, it's not unprecedented for dogs to come on our scooter tours. But dogs need to be in a proper dog carrier, backpack or bag, and the scooter rider must have experience riding with a dog in such a carrier, backpack or bag. Please call to discuss. 

Is this good for kids? 👶

This tour is excellent to keep kids entertained and engaged because we provide the best-of-the-best tour guides who keep your family excited and delighted. We also have a separate private tour called and the Kids Adventure Tour, which is frequently meshed with our monuments and memorials tour.

Is this good for people with disabilities or mobility issues? ♿

If the person can ride a two wheeled scooter, this could be just the way to get around easily without a lot of effort. We also have electric bicycles and three-wheeled scooters (which offer a bit more stability). 

What if it rains, snows, it’s too cold or there’s inclement weather?☔

If you need to cancel your tour due to the inclement weather you can postpone to a different tour date. Alternatively, we offer a 100% money back guarantee.

We offer a 100% money back guarantee if you need to cancel your tour for any reason with at least 90 minutes notice before the tour (for scooter tour and tricycle tours only). 

What about restroom breaks? 🚽

Tours stop frequently for restroom breaks. Most monuments and memorials on tour feature a usable restroom during regular hours.

What happens next, how do we schedule the tour? 📆

If you are on a group scooter tour, simply go to the booking page and pick a tour with the time and date that that works for you. If you decide you want to do a private tour instead so that it better aligns with your schedule, we are usually able to apply the full ticket price towards to price of that private tour.
